Third tooling loan for multi-award winning Rotolight

Third significant tooling loan for multi-award winning Rotolight manufacturer from National Tooling Loan Fund.

  • Funding from the National Tooling Loan Fund supports manufacturer firm to develop new product
  • Berkshire-based Rotolight Group Ltd is a renowned specialist in creating advanced LED lighting 

The Berkshire manufacturing firm behind the creation of renowned Rotolight brand has to date received a six-figure investment loan from the National Tooling Loan Fund, now managed by Frontier Development Capital, sister business of Finance Birmingham, sponsor of the Manufacturing Advisory Service (M AS). The investment supports the development of key products already successfully brought to market.

The latest tooling loan from the Fund, supported Rotolight’s development of its latest innovative product, a new location LED light targeted at the broadcasting sector with pioneering dimmer properties, due for release later this year. Previous investments developed the tooling required to create Rotolight’s award winning NEO and AEOS models.

Established in 2005, Rotolight is renowned for designing, developing and distributing new and specialist LED lighting used in the photography and filming industries. Its award winning, innovative products have been used on countless famous films, such as James Bond Skyfall and BAFTA winning Captain Philips, and utilised by the BBC, ITV, EA Sports and Disney. The company has exported over 100,000 products worldwide and received numerous global awards and accolades, most recently awarded for best lighting innovation and best on-camera flash.
